but I hope you understand,
I’m glad God blessed me with you
and I will always be your friend…
If you stood among the treasures,
and all the gold and silver too
and I could choose but one of them,
my choice would be be just you…
If you stood among a bed of roses,
and all roses smell the same,
I know that I could pick you out,
and on you I’d stake my claim…
If I had to paint a picture,
or write it on the longest wall,
I still would claim to the whole wide world
that you’re the greatest of them all.
